Ingredients:
Potato 700 g
Onion 2 pcs
Wheat flour 4 tablespoons
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
2 eggs
Salt 1 teaspoon
Sugar 0.5 teaspoon
Ground black pepper 0.5 teaspoon
Red caviar 120 g
Fermented milk yogurt 100 ml
Vegetable oil 150 ml
Instruction:
Finely chop the onion. Beat the eggs. Mix flour, beaten eggs and onions in a bowl. Add sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper. To stir thoroughly. Peel the potatoes, grate, transfer to a colander and squeeze out the excess liquid. Add the grated potatoes to the total mass, mix. Heat oil in a pan, spreading one tablespoon of the resulting dough into a pan, fry on both sides until golden. Remove latkes from the pan and pat dry on a paper towel. Transfer to a warm oven, so that they would not cool. For each latkes, a spoonful of yogurt, beautifully lay red caviar on top. Serve hot.
